When I first received this and saw how thick/stiff the waistband was, I thought it was going to be uncomfortable. Also, I didn't know what to expect from a pouch that is essentially knitted. But after wearing two of them (I bought four), it is more comfortable than it looks. One of the best jocks I have ever bought and would buy again. Buy it and try it on for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
I love the color and the extra wide waistband. The support netting is very comfortable and sits well under jeans or chinos. I also found myself having to do less crotch adjusting; everything stays nicely nestled in place.
I love this jock. I've bought jocks from numerous other brands and nothing is as comfy as this one. The waistband gets softer the more you wear it and the straps don't ride up like other brands I've tried. I now own 3 and if I'm not wearing one of these jocks, I'm not wearing underwear.

For those of you who like the styling of the old classic jockstraps, this is a huge step above compared to the old Bike and Duke jockstraps. Although the product description refers to a 2" waistband, it is actually 3". The material reminds me of the nylon strapping used in cargo straps except a lot softer, but it makes for an extremely durable waistband and doesn't dig into your love-handles, nor does it roll like a lot of the "retro" jockstraps being marketed. The waistband is finished off with contrast piping which give the jock a sleek look. The knit pouch is very soft but yet gives the meat'n'taters some good support. As it is knitted, the ventilation is great and keeps the boys from getting too swampy. If you're a fan of the classic jockstrap, this is a major upgrade and a must have for your workouts, especially leg days!

I LOVE these, however, the pouch fits small so I would order a size up. It's also odd the wash tag is sewn on the inside front, not the inside back of the band.
